Kleopatra is a certificate manager and a universal crypto GUI, which serves as a graphical shell for a set of GnuPG console utilities.
Kleopatra is a security encryption key manager, helping you to create both public and private keys with RSA algorithm and a 2048-bit word length. Nowadays such keys are considered to be the most resistant to hacking attacks. They can be used both for Encryption and Signing. It supports managing X.509 and OpenPGP certificates in the GpgSM keybox and retrieving certificates from LDAP servers.
You can make a key without expiry day or with, by ticking a "Valid until" box. Private key can be encrypted and secured by a password in order not to be visible. With Kleopatra you can save keys backup copy to file. After saving you'll get a binary file with .pgp extension. If two users wish to make public keys exchange, they can export sertificates straight away from the File menu. Kleopatra offers you to save file in .asc resolution, it will be text file. Doule click lets you view the file content.
